Mary Jane Callister

is a graphic designer who has worked on a range of projects but specializes in editorial design. 
She received a B.F.A. in graphic design at Brigham Young University and has spent the past nineteen years working in New York. She moved to New York City to work for Louise Fili as her senior designer. With Fili, she designed logos, packaging, books, and book jackets and fell in love with typography. She then spent ten years at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia working as an art director and deputy design director designing books, Martha Stewart Living magazine, and Holiday special issues. She currently lives in Brooklyn and works with a variety of publishers including Knopf, Abrams, and Stewart, Tabori & Chang.
